Pictura, a company well established on the Dutch market, offers internal and external finishing of houses, palaces, tenement houses and production facilities. Our passion, commitment, experience and innovation implementation have allowed us to thrive for over 10 years. Over that time, our expertise, keeping deadlines and precision have gained the trust of many customers who happily return to us with further jobs to be done.
Our priorities are the quality of our services and customer satisfaction, therefore we use the best equipment such as Festool. Furthermore, we are meticulous when choosing paint suitable for each type of renovated surfaces. This gives us certainty that we will achieve a permanent effect to satisfy any customer needs. The paint brands we choose most frequently are: Sikkens, Flamant, Farrow&Ball, Trimetal, Südwest, Copagro, Hammerite and Sigma.
Kalei method
In our work we use the Kalei method with a great success. This very old method enables permanent and authentic finishing of facades and the walls inside a building. Kalei is a technique allowing us to enter the world of the centuries-old tradition of local craft.
Due to our passion for our work combined with our expertise we are able to select suitable materials and methods of work as well as to protect the renovated surfaces in an appropriate manner. All of that is the result of our careful approach to the objects or premises entrusted to us. We want to bring out their beauty anew and achieve the best final result to satisfy our customer’s expectations.
Careful renovation process
We are fully aware that every object we come across at our work is unique and holds its own history. Many of those objects are pieces of art and it is our pleasure to work with them. Since this work is our passion we adopt individual approach to every job and we keep improving our skills and workmanship so that the surfaces entrusted to us regain their long-gone shine to be the source of joy for their owners.
We perfectly understand the value of the old doors, stairs, windows, furniture, ceilings, walls or floors entrusted to us. Apart from the financial aspect they hold a high sentimental value, which may be of most importance. That is why we strive to be most careful at all stages of the renovation process.
What we offer?
Surface Evaluation
Learning our customer’s expectations is a very important stage but we also pay a lot of attention to the evaluation of the material entrusted to us. At this stage we verify the number of defects, general condition of wood and any surface elements. If necessary we will pre-clean and then repair the objects.
Cleaning
In order to clean paint, varnish or impurities from surfaces we use all types of chemical agents as well as mechanical cleaning or cleaning with the use of Festool power tools (grinding, blazing). Our methods depend on our customer’s expectations and the final effect they wish to achieve. The wood cleaning and treatment process is essential because only when done properly it is a guarantee that the renovated object will serve the customer for years.
Surface Coating and Treatment
Cleaning and priming are followed by coating the renovated material. Bearing in mind that such objects may be damaged easily we are very careful at every stage of works and if necessary we secure the objects we are entrusted with. We choose proper protection means to suit every surface. We use protection plastic, tape or cardboard and other materials.
Our choice of paint depends on the type of wood we work on, intended use of the surface and with consideration for the arrangements regarding the final effect.
We do not fear challenges at work. On the contrary, we like them and welcome them with great commitment. Finishing facades and walls inside buildings with the KALEI method. Best effects of this technique are visible on brick. The Kalei technique involves applying lime plaster onto the wall with a brush to rub it in. This product type makes it possible to maintain the original texture of a wall with specific brush strokes visible which give a specific effect. Kale may be combined with pigments in order to obtain a colour desired by the customer.
